Parish Council Meeting: the next Public Meeting is on the 27th January 2021 at 7.30pm. This Meeting will take place remotely. Residents may join the meeting by using Microsoft Teams. Joining details will be available from the Clerk 26th January 2021. These arrangements are in accordance with CALC instructions due to the COVID-19 pandemic. An Announcement will be made in connection with the Public Meeting 27th January 2021 should circumstances alter. The Agenda can be downloaded from the Council Meetings page one week beforehand along with draft Minutes of the previous Public Meeting. A full list of Meeting dates for 2021 can be viewed on the webpage. Councillor Vacancy The Parish Council will be advertising to co-opt a Councillor at the Public Meeting 27th January 2021. The Notice of vacancy and instructions to apply to become a Councillor will be advertised between 11th January 2021 and 25th January 2021. Tender - Grass cutting contract 1st April 2021. Tender documents are available from 11th January 2021.The Procurment timetable and tender information can be viewed on the Parish Council website under 'Notices' . Following instructions from CALC to cancel the Annual Meeting of the Parish Council 27th May 2020 under Regulation 6(c), Regulation 4 permits the current Chairman & Vice Chairman to remain in post until 26th May 2021.Cllr Dave Edwards remains elected as Chairman and Cllr Dave Wiiley remains elected as Vice Chair both of whom will serve during 2020 2021 until the Annual Meeting of the Parish Council on 26th May 2021. You can contact either Cllr Edwards or Cllr Willey by referring to the list of Councillors on the main webpage. Councillors' Surgery / Questions to Councillors : (Temporarily cancelled) - should you have issues that you wish to raise with your Councillors they now hold an informal drop-in from 7.00pm onwards immediately before the Public Meeting which commences at 7:30pm. There is no need to make an appointment so please come along for an informal talk. There is also a section on the Agenda to enable public participation wherein residents may speak on an Agenda item for up to 3 minutes. The Parish Council recommend that should members of the Public have a question for Councillors, that the question be put in writing to the Parish Clerk 24 hours before the meeting and that responses may be put in writing at a later date. email clerk@botusfleming.org.uk. The Electoral Review of Cornwall by the Boundary Commission. The Local Government Boundary Commission has now consulting on it's recommendations for the new ward boundaries in Cornwall. The recommendation is that Botus Fleming & Hatt, along with Landulph form part of the Saltash,Trematon & Landrake electoral division.
